Delivery of ‘Fairplay X’ Name: FAIRPLAY X MMSI: 218272000 IMO: 9541681 Call sign: DGPW2 Flag: Germany Vesseltype: Tug Width: 12 m Length: 25 m Germany: Hamburg-based Fairplay Towage has taken delivery of the third newbuilding out of a series of four units from Spanish shipyard, Astilleros Armon. ‘Fairplay X’ has an overall length of 25 metres, a beam of 11.2 metres and is driven by two eight-cylinder ABC 8MDZC four-stroke engines each rated at 1,850kW at 1,000rpm, generating power for two Schottel SRP1515 rudder propellers. ‘Fairplay X’ has a bollard pull of 70 tonnes and achieves a free running speed of twelve knots. Two Scania D 9 95M 10-40 six-cylinder diesel engines, each with a power output of 196kW generate the required on board electricity. A Brusselles SLH150.20/2-2-2 double drum winch produces a break force of 1,800nW. Designed for a three-man crew, the tugs each have six bunks. The tug is built according to Bureau Veritas with the following class notation: BV + Hull + Mach Tug unrestricted service + AUT YMS. Compared with sister vessels ‘Fairplay I’ and ‘Fairplay III’, this tug’s hull has been slightly modified. The skeg was developed to increase the course-stability when sailing backwards

El buque para la formación pesquera "Intermares",

El Buque partió hoy a las nueve y media de la mañana de los astilleros para hacer las pruebas oficiales de mar,surcando la Ría de Vigo, les presento algunas fotos que tuve la suerte de tomar,cuando salia por la bocana del Berbes,
El buque para la formación pesquera "Intermares", Fue construido en el astillero Armón de Vigo está concebido para la realización de funciones de enseñanza por mares de todo el mundo, en especial por los de aquellos países que en la actualidad tienen suscritos acuerdos de cooperación con España en esta materia.La nave, que podrá albergar un total de 73 personas entre tripulantes, personal docente y alumnos, presenta como novedad la existencia a bordo de una embarcación auxiliar para enseñar las diferentes modalidades de pesca.
