El puerto de Vigo recibe hoy la visita del crucero MSC Opera, con el que
recupera su condición de puerto
terminal de embarque y desembarque de pasajeros
perdida hace dos años. El buque llega a Vigo en la primera de las nueve salidas
desde la estación marítima que la filial española de la naviera italiana ha
programado entre julio y setiembre. Todas ellas, menos la última, tienen como
destino el Norte de Europa, previos atraques en Lisboa y Bilbao. Una vez
abandona la capital vasca, el MSC Opera pone rumbo a Le Havre, Ijmuiden (puerto
próximo a Ámsterdam), Southampton y Saint Peter Port, desde donde regresa a
Vigo. La última salida de la programación, fijada para el 28 de setiembre,
tiene como destino Venecia, a donde se llega tras visitar durante nueve
jornadas Lisboa, Palma, Valetta y Dubrovnik. En este caso, el regreso a Vigo
desde la ciudad de los canales, es en avión. El MSC Opera no embarcará pasaje
de manera exclusiva en Vigo, comparte tal condición con Lisboa, Bilbao,
Ijmuiden y Southampton.
